Garlic-lime Halibut


  • 1 pound halibut filet

  • 2 whole onions

  • 4 ounces lime juice

  • crushed red pepper

  • old bay seasoning

  • Garlic salt

  • Garlic powder


Slice onions, place in fry pan and pour lime juice over them, turn heat to medium high. Sprinkle onions with garlic salt, a little crushed red pepper and dill weed. Saute until onions start to turn soft. Keep warm. Place halibut on broiling pan, sprinkle with garlic powder and Old Bay seasoning. Broil 10-12 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Place on serving plate and cover with lime/onion mixture.
