Grouper Stuffed with Bacon and Cheese


  • 16-8 oz filet of grouper

  • Garlic juice

  • Dry dill weed

  • Old bay or any other seafood seasoning

  • Old Mansion cajun blackening seasoning

  • American cheese

  • Shredded Provolone & Romano cheeses

  • Paprika

  • Parsley

  • Olive oil

  • Hormel precooked black label bacon


  • Coat baking pan lightly with olive oil

  • Lay grouper bottom side up

  • Spray with garlic juice

  • Sprinkle dry dill weed on grouper

  • Season with seafood seasoning

  • Cut grouper lengthwise down the center

  • Cover thicker side of grouper with American cheese

  • Add one slice of bacon lengthwise

  • Sprinkle heavily with cajun blackening seasoning

  • Place the thinner half of the grouper on top of the thicker half of grouper

  • Top with shredded provolone cheese

  • Sprinkle lightly with paprika, then parsley

  • Bake @ 375 for 17 minutes
